Zodiac Sign Makeup

Hey Gals/Guys!  Well I've been wanting to do zodiac sign inspired makeup for a loooong while now and I've finally got the chance to get started. I'm very excited to do these signs, because of all the colors I can use.

I'm going to start with my Zodiac Sign first

Taurus:

-Now this look was so messy! Well for me. I used so many colors.  Well I chose to do green, white, brown, and I believe I had some blues.  I chose these colors because Taurus's are very down to earth, and all those colors represent nature, water, and sky.

This is the picture I went by, I thought this picture was perfect, because it showed the bull (strength) and the Goddess Venus (beauty/feminine).  I also love all the colors in here, it's just so inspiring!

Now I will start with the first sign:

Aries:

 This was such a fun look to play with.  Aries the first sign in the Zodiac! Aries are very hard workers and very straight forward people so I decided to go with a darker look, something more intimidating!

 

For Aries, this is the picture I went by.  I also love the color in this picture.  I loved the purple, but I couldn't really find a place to put the purple in... :( But I used black glitter to represent the stars, but you can't really see it cause it's on my right eye.. :)

Feeling Kind of Down

I wonder if its just prejudice or ignorance.  I'm not good at being poetic..I'd rather straightforwardly say it out.. sometimes, I wonder if I'll love you guys in the future.  I mean I'm doing all I can for you guys now..and I always end up getting hurt by your words...I guess you could say I'm very upset right now.  I'm going to school too..I care about education just as much as you guys say..."SIGH" there's a saying I heard from a friend "Even though you go to school, get straight A's, and work your ass off....if your hair is brown, you're a bad kid (gangsta)." (You'll probably only understand this if you're Hmong)  I guess it's not what we do that really matters..It's how we present ourselves and what we brag about.

30 Day Photo Challenge

So on facebook (which I'm barely on) I found this 30 day photo challenge thingy that I thought would be fun to do! Most of my friends on there are doing it, I just didn't want to do it on there, so I'll BLOG about it. I guess the whole idea is to post a picture for 30 days, but the picture have to be what the day says.. you get it? lol.  Well I'll just be editing my photos on here so come back and check here for the next 29 days to see the new picture I will post. :)  And I hope you guys find this as interesting as I did, and try it out yourself!

 Day 02 - A picture of you and the person you have been close with for the longest.

-My younger brother, two younger sisters, and my older sister. These four have been the closest to me.  Although we don't have a picture together, we will soon :)) (I also have an older brother, but he's married and we don't talk much and I have a 6 yr old sister who I can't really express my feelings to. :p) -But all in all I love everyone in my family. They just all mean so much to me.  We've all been through thick and thin together, and no one can separate us :)


Day 03 - A picture of the cast from your favorite show.

-I don't really watch TV, whatever is on...is on.....













Day 04 - A picture of your favorite night.

-Going to the Haunted House.  I'm not in this picture but I went with these kids :)













Day 05 - A picture of your favorite memory.
-My Boyfriend and I.  I love every moment with him <3














 Day 06 - A picture of a person you'd love to trade places with for a day.

-Hyun Bin. He's so handsome, I wonder how he gets around without getting terrorized by fans :?

-Makeup! Simply because I can express so much with just a brush! This is the only form of art I truly love <3

-MYSELF: every time things don't go the way you want you are the only one who can really pull yourself back up. Be your own best friend.

-My high school friend OYIN. We did many stupid things...so sad we don't see each other anymore. Diff college :(

Lipsticks

Since it's still cold outside and stuff, I haven't been using much on my lips other than my EOS, but I recently purchased some Revlon lipsticks that were on sale for like $2-3 bucks. I was very excited to try them out.  I just wanted to swatched some of my favorite lipsticks as of this month, so here it goes.

Working Out

Well after the lake we decided to go out for a run. I've been trying to lose weight for about a year now. I'm very disappointed in myself because I lost a lot of weight and I'm gaining them all back. How I lost weight? WORKING OUT, but I have been lagging!! So sad; My boyfriend and I joined a gym in December but they're renovating, so we're waiting, and I'm also very busy with school, so I just don't know how to put workout time in my schedule. And not to mention the stress! That is also not helping me either. :( But I've decided that even though I may be busy and stuff I could fit workout time into my schedule (ie. like now, while I'm writing this I could be working out). :} lol; I'm also doing yoga, so hopefully it will make me less tired after a long day! Now what do I want!? A WARM SHOWER. :)

Beautiful Spring Breeze

I went to the lake today with my two sisters and my brother, and it was just so beautiful, I mean the scenery wasn't all that but the warm spring breeze was just wonderful! I love spring so much (fav season).  The shore was covered in ice though. :( But it was okay because they have these really big rocks where you can climb.  We sat on those and looked at the unfrozen water. It was so nice! I haven't been there since summer.  Right before we were going, one of my sister spotted a fox, it was so cute! I couldn't take an photo cause the camera ran out of battery and my phone quality is not good, but I managed to take a vid, I don't think you could see it cause before I could take the vid, the fox had already went on with his/her way. But it was cute seeing it. :) We were hoping it would come back but it never did, so we left. On my way back though, my foot fell into the snow (I thought it was hard, but it wasn't and my foot slipped in :/) - same thing happened to my sister before we were on the rocks. :)

FEB Fav!!

So for the month of February, I've been in love with these products. I've been using them daily, well some :). Most of these products are very inexpensive and if you are on a tight budget, like me, then these products are perfect for you! :)

First of all I want to tell you guys about my acne.  My acne history. I didn't grow up with perfect skin.  I struggled with acne, like most girls, I had big and small pimples, some more severe and some not so much.  I've been looking for a solution, and many people suggested me to Pro-Active, but I didn't try it, I didn't want to use that much money, so I found Clean and Clear and it worked so good.  I originally bought the set but the set didn't come with the mark treatment so I just decided to buy them separately.   

Cleanser: about $5
Moisturizer: about $5
Acne Spot treatment: about $6
Acne Mark treatment: about $5






Here in Wisconsin during the winter it's super cold, and during the summer it's super hot, so I use different kind of foundations, and I personally don't like using powder foundation because of my dry skin, so I mostly use liquid foundation.  My two fav for the moment is Revlon Age Defying Spa Foundation (I found this one to work better during winter simply because it's heavier) and Almay Smart Shade Makeup (This one is better for summer, because it's very lightweight - like a tinted moisturizer).

I'm also in LOVE with E.l.f's Contouring Blush and Bronzer Powder.  This has the perfect blush and bronzer :).  The blush is infused with gold pigments, so it's very very very pretty! And the bronzer is the perfect color for my skin tone :)

I've also been using Witch Hazel as a toner, I got this at Sallys.  I think it works great, I've noticed the difference in my skin so yeah, its a good buy!

The primer I've been using is from Hard Candy, this primer is so good! I love it, its so light.  It feels oily at first but once its on your skin it feels so nice and soft! Along with this I bought this Glow All the Way base thingy from Hard candy too. I really like this esp. if you want a dewy look or a nice shimmer.  I love using this for highlighting.  I got the pink one, there's also a gold one too but I have a pink under tone.

Since it's still cold outside I haven't been using lipsticks as much, instead I've been using chap-stick, my favorite one is EOS, I have the honey (something) one. lol; it smells so GOOD!! lol

I've also been obsess with nails lately and I have a nail polish that I am absolutely in love with it's call Steel Grey by Rimmel London.  It's the cutest color ever!! I'll have a swatch up soon, but for now it'll just be the packaging.

A New Start

Well, I've decided to start blogging.  This is my first time blogging. >.< but I guess i could write anything I want. :)) I've actually been thinking about blogging for a long time now but I just haven't done it.  My goal for this blog spot is to give advice and get advice..about anything.  I've been enjoying so many other bloggers for so long, I just felt like I was obligated to also give back a little too.  So this is the start; a new start.  A new stand point of view.
